HP Color LaserJet 2600N

THis is a great home or small office printer if you are looking for something of higher caliber than your typical inkjet printer.

 The HP Color LaserJet 2600N has 4 color cartridges (black, magenta, yellow and blue), the paper tray holds 250 sheets, and the printout quality is very good.  It will print a black and white page within seconds, and color within a minute.  It is very silent in its opeation, and was a breeze to set up.

 The networking aspect of this printer is phenominal.  It includes a set up CD that will automatically detect any network you may have set up, and can automatically share the printer with other computers, and assign the printer a network IP address.  There was no work involved other than clicking a few buttons on the set up application.  A novice would have an easy time getting multiple computers working with this printer.

 The cost of replacement cartridges is a bit high (around $80 a piece, and the printer has 4 of them), but as it is a LaserJet, the cartriges are full of powder, and not ink that can dry up, so with light to average home use, each cartridge is still in use and giving excellent print quality even after 8 months - there are still no signs of the cartridges needing to be replaced.

The unit is a bit large when you are used to inkjet printers, but it is on the small side of laser jets, and therefore a great fit for your multiple computer home or office!
