Navigon GPS

Share and Enjoy:

Overall this was one of the best purchases I made.  For one, this GPS system has very sleek lines, rounded corners and a very bright graphics.  It does everything the more expensive GPS systems do for a lot less money.  I got mine at Staples for $100 on Black Friday (Day after Thanksgiving Sale) but the price of it should not be much more.  One of the cool features is the 3 dimensional exit sign display that changes from the 2d/3d screen when you come to a complex interchange. For example when you get to downtown of a city and lanes start peeling off into different exits, the display changes to show you the actual images of the exit signs and when you look at the road you see the same signs on the road.  Now how cool is that?  You can set speed warnings and it will give you a warning beep if you exceed the speed limits.  The points of interest and favorites features work very well too.  There is a night mode and a day mode that adjusts the brightness on the screen.  I got mine with free life time traffic but you can buy that feature as an add on.  Street maps can be updated as they are made available.  Also, this product is made in Canada and the windshield mount is made in Germany.  None of the cheap Chinese junk....All in all a great buy and an awsome product.

  3. That sounds like a pretty good score for a Black Friday deal! I like how it came with free lifetime traffic.

  4. This is the GPS I'll buy. It sounds well thought out, easy to read and very helpful. I live in a high traffic city with lots of hidden streets and sudden turns. This one out of all of them seems ideal forr my area.
