Lifetime 44" Portable Basketball System

This is the 1533, a Lifetime 44" portable basketball system. This system was purchased for my 8 year old son, an aspiring basketball star, it was number one on his Christmas wish list and it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. It has a high impact  44" backboard, it also has two wheels on the base so it is easily portable even for my younger son. I was surprised and pleased at the construction of this system. It will hold up to many more years that the warranty of 5 years. This system was assembled with two people and it took about an hour. The base can be filled with sand or water, if you use water be sure and put some antifreeze in it so it doe not burst if it freezes. I recommend putting sand in the base though, but keep in mind it will take several hundred pounds of sand. The base even has an indention for your basketball to sit when you are not playing. It also has a quick release so the height can be adjusted with just a broom stick, overall I am well pleased with this system and would recommend it to anyone.

  4. These are great. This one even sounds better than some. Note that they can blow over on cars, etc. in high winds!
