My daughter bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves to be bundled up with blankets. The only problem with that is when he needs to walk around the house. It's not only difficult to drag blankets around the house but it isn't practical.
She found this cuddle wrap at Kmart. It zips up in the front and snaps under each arm. The bottom of the cuddle wrap is open so you can get up and walk around the house as if you were wearing a robe. This is safer too since you don't have to worry about tripping over blankets. This cuddle wrap is very warm and snuggly.
One bad thing about is this wrap is it's not the softest blanket/wrap I have ever seen. But the concept is fantastic! It can also be used as a throw. Simply unzip it and use it as a blanket.
The wrap is made of 86% acrylic, 7% cotton and 7% polyester. It can be washed in the machine with cold water. Make sure you only put it in with other items of the same color. You wouldn't want to wash this in with white items. Even though it's washed in cold water the colors could run. If you want to use bleach in the wash, you can, but it has to be the non-chlorine type. After washing it throw (no pun intended) it in the dryer on low heat. I kind of laughed when I read the tag where it says "do not iron". I don't think I have ever ironed a blanket in my life!
It might not look stylish, but it keeps you warm on a chilly evening!

Oh my goodness, this brings back memories- my mom used to have one of these when I was a kid- hers didn't have a zipper though; it had metal snaps instead. My sister and I used to be able to fit both of us in it, and we were so good, we could even walk around like that, lol. They do keep you warm!
This would make a great gift for my father...(he is always cold)..LOL
