256 pages of large and great quality images of the greatest band in history, The Beatles. My infatuation with the Beatles has grown with their music and reading about them, however this book finally gives me a visual representation of them. Images of the Beatles is a featured packed with stunning quality of huge pictures thoughout the histoy of the Beatles. These images are really great, the book is very large and makes a great coffee table book, the images sometimes span both pages. It is organized cronologically by year that captures the lifes year by year. Each image is paired with a short caption that describes the scene, sometimes I do wish it had some more info, but it gives you sense of the scene and what is happening. This is not a typical biography with a lot of text and a little bit of pictures, it is the exact opposite and allows the images to tell the stories and quickly move through the book while picking up information from the Fab Fours careers. Chapter One starts in 1960 and follows all the way through to chapter seven which ends in the year 2004 with the final images of Beatles being of their solo careers. This is a must own book that can be found at a low price and makes a great coffee table book. I really enjoyed this book the most when talking about it with my dad, its a huge book and we got it as a Christmas present. We were able to sit next to each other during Christmas and flip through the pages and really enjoy ourselves. That alone was worth it.
