Four Paws Petdental Toothpaste for Cats
In case if you're wondering why cats would need their own toothpaste... Well, cats have tartar and plaque too, which can cause teeth problems, and you don't want pet dentist bills to hit your budget. So it's a good idea to have your cat's teeth brushed once in a while, and regular "human" toothpaste does not work. I know because I tried. The flavor is obviously too strong for cats; mine went through the roof and hated me for the rest of the day. That's when I went shopping for a cats toothpaste... And I found Four Paws Petdental.
This fluoride toothpaste is designed for cats and vet-approved. The formula is rinse-free, which helps a lot: I haven't yet figured a way to make my cat rinse his teeth. I don't know what exactly this toothpaste tastes like since I haven't tried it myself, but it seems to be very mild: my cat still dislikes having his teeth brushed, but he does not try to spit the toothpaste out the moment it touches his tongue. His teeth look very clean now.
Petdental is best applied with the fingerbrush you can also buy from Petco: a small plastic brush you put on your index finger.

When we had cats we bought those dental snacks which supposedly help clean teeth but I don't really trust that stuff. Kinda terrified to mess with an animal's mouth though with this toothpaste but I guess its a pretty great way to take care of your pets.
