Have a Hard Time Rating Songs? This Helps

One of the first things I found before getting a Mac was this piece of software. I found a review through a blog and immeditaly realized how useful this program would be. I always had a hard time figuring out how much I liked a song. What AutoRate does is it looks at how often you skip a song, how often you play it, and the overall play count. Using all those factors together it rates each song for you. What I really liked was that you can customize how you want it to bias your reviews. When I first downloaded AutoRate I was suprised how fast it was. I had roughly One Thousand songs and the first time around it took a mere couple of minutes. After that it went on faster because most songs had been played. One great feature is you can set it to rate trcks already rated, or only nonrated tracks. I set mine to rerate tracks because I always like to keep things up to date. Try it out if need some rating help, I find it pretty acurate.
