The Nikon D200
This camera has no apparent drawbacks in my experience with it so far. It's been a workhorse, reliable and durable in my profession as a wedding photographer. It's made for professionals like myself, so it may not be ideal for casual amateurs or those with just a passing interest in photography. It is on the heavy side, which is a trade-off for durability, but be prepared for an aching back. The menu isn't user-friendly, but with use and familiarity this is only a temporary setback.
The manual that is enclosed with the camera is unclear and difficult to follow; I was flipping through the pages in frustration as more than once the information I was looking for was buried amongst other content. If you've already used Nikon professional products, this may not be an issue, but to someone new to Nikon it can be a definite hindrance to use.
