I have been using a manual brush all my life and have never really seen the need to try an electric toothbrush, but a while back, I was in Wal-mart ready to purchase another manual brush when I got to looking at the electric toothbrushes. I would have liked to have gotten one of the really expensive and fancy models, but I couldn't afford those, so when I saw the Crest Spinbrush Pro, I decided to give it a shot. I purchase 2 of them, in different colors; one for myself and one for my husband. We tried them out and at first I wasn't sure how much I liked them.
The vibrations seem fairly gentle against my mouth and gums. I am used to a manual brush, so getting used to something vibrating against my teeth is a little strange , but after using it for a while, I have really begun to enjoy it.
My only real complaint is that the batteries die pretty quickly and they are expensive to replace as are the brush heads, but I guess in the long run, it probably isn't any more expensive than replacing my manual toothbrush.

I use this toothbrush. I think it gets my teeth cleaner than a manual toothbrush. I change my toothbrush every 3 or 4 months. I usually just toss the whole thing and buy a new one lol.
I was like you and not sure if I could handle the vibration. I bought the more expensive Sonicare and love it. It did take awhile to get use to it, but wouldn't go back. My teeth feel so much cleaner! Thanks
Wow, there is a huge price difference between these and most of those other power toothbrushes. I'm still happy with elbow grease.
I bought one of these when I had carpal tunnel surgery and couldn't use my hand well. It was great.
