Gone are the days of those oversized microwave ovens that took up most of your counterspace. Our microwave ided a few years back and we bought this Goldstar model. It is much smaller and takes up less counterspace but the oven works just as well as the larger one did for us. It weighs about forty pounds and the color is white. It has a digital touch panel and there is a spinning glass plate inside of the microwave. You do have to lower the minutes which you cook foods as this oven cooks fast. We learned this the hard way. There were overflowing cups of coffee and bowls of splattered sauces. Through trial and error, we now know that things have to be cooked ten minutes less than what various foods call for. Other than that, this oven performs very well and looks just like it did when we bought it several years ago!
