From Blizzard, the company that brought the world such series as Starcraft, Diablo, and Warcraft, this game is the companies first attempt at a MMORPG. The result was a smashing success that reshaped the online gaming environment. The gigantic world created is expansive, visually mesmerizing, and revolves around many of the storylines and characters from the previous Warcraft games. Whether you prefer to hunt with friends or by yourself, this game provides you with a bevy of options. The level of personalization between classes and races is unsurpassed as is the way level progression and entertainment value of encounters. The graphics are simple but stylish, and guarantee this game can be run on a broad array of computers. Since its inception, there have been many expansions with more promised to come. Blizzard has consistantly been a company with high support that values its player base. I played this game since the beta, beaten every boss and dungeon prior to expansion, and done more pvp'ing than I care to discuss. The game greatly lends itself to guild-forming and led me to meet many people who remain friends in real life. This is a great game that can seriously suck you in; just beware you don't lose your life in the process!
