Asymmetric Lead Mouthpiece

Share and Enjoy:
I recieved this mouthpiece as a gift for christmas. This item comes in a nice envelope with a booklet telling how to use it, it also comes with a very nice leather carrying pouch, as well as a mouthpiece brush.  The difference between this mouthpiece and others is that in the cup of this mouthpiece, one side is flat, so that it forces your embochure into the proper position to play high. It also automatically brightens you tone.  Although it doesn't extend your range much, this mouthpiece does its job. At first it only extended my range by 3 notes, but now I can play 5 notes higher than with my standard Bach 3c mouthpiece.  This mouthpiece is weighted, so it is a little heavy, but that doesn't matter  if you are carrying it around in your case.
