TomTom One 3rd Edition

Share and Enjoy:
When GPS shopping, I examined the TomTom one, 3rd edition .  I liked the fact that it speaks clearly, even if it doesn’t have text-to-speech.  It seemed easy enough to port from one car to another.  However, its input screen seemed less responsive than its competitors, and it uses TeleAtlas maps, rather than Naveq.  I thought that as maps are an integral component of GPS systems, I would be better off with a different system.  It was easy enough to map a route from where I was to my house-and easy to see it played out.  The display was clear and big enough to be seen driving easily-which was important to me. It had the ability to give directions to a walker, which interested me.  Despite these flaws, it appeared to be a fully functional GPS at a great pricepoint.
