Electric toothbrush recommended most by Dentists

Share and Enjoy:
I love my sonicare flexcare and can not imagine using a manual toothbrush again. My teeth feel so much cleaner since I started using it and I know that since there is a timer, I am brushing longer as well as better. The toothbrush has 3 differnt speeds, regular, massaging and sensitive. In the moring I use the regular setting and I love the tingle it leaves behind on your lips and gums. At night I use the massage setting and it leaves your mouth clean and relaxed. This unit comes with a built in sanitizer unit which is great for killing germs. I was sick a few weeks ago and used the sanitizer unit on the brush head after every brushing. For the first time I can remember, my cold did not linger on for weeks. Did it have something to do with the sanitizer? I don't know but Bravo if it did. The biggest downfall to owning this toothbrush is the high cost of the replacement heads. A 2 pack runs about 25.00 on sale. Since I have always been used to paying under 2 bucks for a toothbrush in the past, this will take some getting used to but for as clean as it makes my mouth feel, it might be worth it. The real test will be after my first trip to the dentist since using it.

  1. How neat about the sanitizing feature! However, the replacement brushes are quite expensive - how often do they need replacing?

    1. I would say like most toothbrushes every 2-3 months

  2. I've always wanted one because I feel as if I rush when I brush. These seem like they are massaging and effortless but I'm always scared of like getting shocked or something - even though I never heard of it happening.

  3. I know Dentist.net sells these for 5% off with their code Make5Me .. are there any other discounts floating around?
