Steve Perry “For the Love of Strange Medicine”

Steve Perry, known for his outstanding role in the most memorable and amazing band known to man, Journey. Famously known for his hits with Journey such as "Don't Stop Believing" and "Any Way You Want It", Steve Perry has also taken his own journey to produce solo albums that will just amplify his amazing voice even further. This album, "For the Love of Strange Medicine" is just one of his great albums that captivate you from beginning to end with his magnificent voice.

Like all of the songs Steve Perry sings, it is always so clear of how much passion and energy that he puts into each word and performance. This album is no different. Even though it is a Steve Perry album, you can still hear hints of Journey's soul in it.

All and all, this is a great album, but being a Journey fan, you will always associate Steve Perry with Journey and this album may not be enough to sway the Journey fan to the Steve Perry solo albums. I consider this album to be one of those albums that is great to listen to once in a while, but every time I listen to it, I feel the need to turn it off at some point and replace it with Steve Perry Journey.

I purchased this album at my local Exchange for $5.
