1/3 CT. Diamond Bridal Set

Share and Enjoy:

When my fiance and I started talking about getting engaged and he began to ask me questions about what type of ring I would like I gave him a few guidelines and left the rest up to him. I asked for a Princess setting, yellow gold and that the ring NOT be expensive. The latter part was so important to me that I did not even care if it was a real diamond or not. I told him I would rather have a beautiful CZ that I can see than a diamond chip that cost 1,000.00 that doesn't even sparkle. He looked and looked and was having a really hard time finding something that was in his price range that I would like. It was starting to get really frustrating, I felt like I was being too picky and we even got into a fight over it one day with him telling me that I shouldn't even have any say in it that he should just pick what he wanted and I should be happy with it. I really didn't think I was being too demanding, just wanted him to buy a ring I would love and that wouldn't break the bank. It seemed like the CZ's we were finding were just too big and gaudy and the real diamonds were really low quality and so cloudy they didn't even look like diamonds. I was out one day at Walmart and just decided to go to the jewelry counter and see what they had. The first thing I saw was this set and I knew it was the one I wanted and the price was perfect. It was a Princess setting, a wider band on the engagement ring, 10k gold and the diamonds were real, clear and sparkling. I went home and told him about it and he promised to go check it out. On December 17th, 2007 he proposed to me with this ring and of course I said YES! It turns out he had seen the ring before I ever said anything and I just confirmed that it was the one. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the band, it's slender and has diamonds going across it like the upper and lower portions of the engagement ring. It really is a beautiful ring and for the price I think it was a steal. I hope that it will make other brides as happy as it has made me.
