Sims 2
I love this game as you can download user-created content. Now, that increases the playable life of a game. I really love to download stuff for the Sims to wear as well as real nice furniture,cars and more that the Sims can have in their homes and lots.And to design dream homes that people would just give anything to live in them if they could.That is a real nice part of the game. And people are creating custom content (downloads) for Sims 2 nearly everyday, that simply prolongs the life of the game. I cannot see The Sims2 dying as a type of game anytime real soon.
My only complaint is that you have to keep up to date with all the expansion packs as some custom content will only work IF you have a particular pack present. For example ,say you have Sims 2 and Sims 2 University, but DO NOT have Nightlife. Cars that are custom content, or ANY cars for that matter won,t work in the game till you buy the expansion pack.
The only upside to the expansion packs are that you get new, interesting objects and whatnot for your sims to enjoy.
