I've always wanted a digital alarm clock. The Elega digital alarm clock was the first alarm clock I bought and I'm still using it to this day. The clock is about 4 inches thick with a roundish display face. It comes in two colors: orange and blue and costs around $10. Mine is orange. The clock ones with a bright red LED display that makes the clock readable at night or day. A very loud buzzer that will definately wake even the most sleepiest person up is the alarm. It also comes with a built in FM/AM radio that can be used as an alarm indicator in place of the standard buzzer. Only one button at the right hand corner of the clock turns off the alarm whereas the snooze button is located, as usual, at the top of the clock. In short, a great alarm clock at a great price. However it does have its drawbacks. Firstly, it doesn't come with a manual. I had to experiment a few times before I could actually use it properly. Secondly, the clock comes with a 9 Volt battery slot so that the time can be saved in the event the clock does not receive power from the power supply. This rarely wolq though as the clock still resets itself with the presence of the battery. Thirdly, the clock almost always fast forwards an hour when an attempt is made to set the alarm. This problem has existed since I bought it. If you can ignore these small defects, then this is a clock I would recommend.
