Sony Handycam

I bought the Sony Handycam about a year ago.  This was the first camcorded that I have owned and I think that it extremely easy to learn and use.  I was amazed at how quickly I was able to get it charged up out of the box and begin using it.  It's very compact and it not too much larger than a traditional camera.  The pop-out LED screen is ample sized and easy to view from a variety of angles.  The playback features on the touch screen are easy to navigate and you almost don't have to read the instruction manual in order to get the hang of operating the camcorder.  It's lightweight and doesn't feel like you are lugging around something that's not worthwhile.  It quickly starts up so that you don't miss a moment of filming.  Another plus is the mini-dvds that it uses.  They are small and convenient to use.  Sony is a quality company that stands behind its products.
