I recently was in the market for a new phone. I got a RadioShack 5.8GHz cordless phone for $39.99. It has caller ID capabilities and it actually came with a second phone. That meant I could leave one phone on each floor of the house (very handy).
The phone is very sleek with it's black and silver colors. It is very easy to set the volume and check your calls with the caller ID feature.
The only reason I gave this product a 4.9 score for overview is that it didn't come with an answering machine. My previous phone did. That means I have to go out and make a second purchase. Either I need an answering machine, or I need to order a voice mail service with my phone company. I wasn't looking forward to spending the extra money, which is why I gave the phone a 4.9 instead of a 5.
Voice is clear on this phone and it stays charged much longer than any other phone I have ever purchased. I give it an A+.

Sounds like a pretty good phone, but too bad it didn't have all the features you needed.
Sounds like a nice phone. I had a hard time myself finding a perfect phone with all the features. I noticed they are cutting back on the features.
It is almost a Uniden clone. The 5.8 gz means greater clarity and security too. So many phone company's offer voice mail, I think most phone manufacturers ass-ume, everyone uses them.
Sounds like a great cordless phone. It looks great too. I need to get a new cordless phone. I will keep this product in mind. Thanks for sharing the information.
