My father recently purchased this car for me after our Camry of 8 years died on us. We went shopping around and decided the Volkswagen was for us. For a much cheaper price than the Camry we got a car that is much sportier, and seems to perform better. Though with the Jetta since it is not supercharged (like its Audi counterpart) you get less brake horsepower than the Toyota the Jetta definately makes up for it. The pickup on this car is amazing, it also includes a tiptronic transmission giving you more control, and for those of us who like to have the performance of a manual car but aren't always in the mood to shift gears, this feature is amazing. The car is a speed demon, in no time you can reach 60, and the car doesn't struggle even at 120. Overall this is a sporty car with an amazing price tag. You can't go wrong.

Never heard of a triptronic transmission. What is that? V:)
