Hamilton Beach 3 cup Food Chopper

This is a food chopper that has a three cup container. It runs on high and low speed only. There are no specialty chopping functions. It does well with a more watery or soft mixture such as salsa or pesto. You can put in a whole 3 cups and not have a problem chopping. When you are trying to chop something that is a little harder such as carrots or onions it doesn't do a very good job. You can only do about a half of a cup at a time. Even then you have to keep stopping to scape the sides down with a spatula. It seems to do a good job in the center, but pieces around the outside remain whole. I think it is a little overpriced for the job that it does. It basically performs like a mini chopper and you can get one of those for much cheaper.
