Hasbro Paws Off Diary

My daughter recieved this Paws Off Diary for Christmas.  It was at the top of all her lists and the one thing I know that she really wanted.  It is an electronic diary made by Hasbro.  You have to program in a secret password and supposedly the diary will only open if the person who programmed in that secret password says it.  Its voice activated. 

Well, within an hour of playing with it we realized that the door of the diary was not latching like it was supposed to.  So it wouldn't stay locked and anyone could open it.  I contacted Hasbro and they have excellent customer service so they sent me a postage paid envelope and I sent it back.  They then sent a new one for my daughter (after 6 weeks of waiting!).  Well the new one is now doing the same thing.  So we will never get another one again.

I'm very dissappointed in this product because it was something my daughter wanted so bad and it just plain does not work.
