After spending so much to have a great vacation, it only makes sense to me to insure this trip. For the last two big trips, I've planned I've used CSA Travel Protection. You may access their website at www.csatravelprotection.com. For each of my trips, it has costs slightly over $100.
You may be wondering, why would you bother? I know many people believe that insurance is a waste of money, but I have the worst luck in the world, and I'm also a single mom. The combination means I like knowing we are insured just in case. I most certainly can not afford to lose the money I've invested in our big vacations. Not only does CSA allow you a refund if you can't go on a vacation, but they'll also help you out if the airline delays your flight and you're stranded at an airport (a big relief for me as a single mom). It also gave me luggage protection. This was very important when you have all girls! Goodness knows females NEED their luggage.
I can not testify yet as to their paying out, as we have been lucky and not needed to make a claim, but I can tell you that buying it is super easy, and they are great to work with (as I called a few times the first time I used them with questions)!

I've never used anything like this, but it seems sensible.
In light of the way travel has been lately, this sounds like a great idea!
Good for you to have a guardian angel out there. I find insurance very important as life is so uncertain. Its better to be prepared all the time.
Sounds like a very smart thing to have when traveling!
Wow..lots of benefits there...help if the flight is delayed and if stranded at airport plus luggage protection, very worth for $112.
