NO-AD SPF 30 Babies Sunblock Stick

Share and Enjoy:

In the warmer months, my husband and I are obsessed with making sure that our 3 kids are fully protected from the sun's harmful rays. We have bought the sprays, the lotions, and now, the sticks! We bought NO-AD SPF 30 Babies Sunblock Stick at Walmart with the thought that it is a little stick and will fit in our diaper bag. Bad idea on our part because using a stick to cover 3 kids is very time consuming! If we just had one small baby, this stick would be perfect. It does give a bit of a greasy feeling, but we have found that a lot of sunscreens make you feel this way. I do wish the SPF was higher also. This sunscreen has no fragrance. It is waterproof. hypoallergenic, and PABA free. We will probably not buy this little stick again, only because it just isn't practical when you have 3 kids to cover with sunscreen. I suppose we could just use it on their faces...that would be easier than trying to rub sunscreen on their faces with our hands.

  1. I have never seen sunscreen in a stick. I personally feel slathering mine with lotion takes a really long time so I understand where you are going with the sticks. I like the new spray ons but I hate to use them on their faces. A good compromise to this might be to use the spray on their bodies and the sticks on their faces. Thanks for the new info.

  2. No-Ad is great stuff! I hadn't seen the stick yet. It's that time of year again so I better get a move on and get some. Thanks!

  3. I like this for throwing into my beach bag. I use it on the most delicate facial areas that I know will burn with just a little bit of sun. Good idea for the kids faces. I can see that it would be a problem trying to get this all over a child's body...and then trying to do it with three....you need that spray on sunblock!

  4. I am not familiar with No-Ad, I have never seen sunscreen on a stick. It would be compact , but would be difficult and time consuming to put on a large area. It sounds like a great product for the face.

  5. This sounds so practical, but in reality what a hassle! Maybe when they are a little older it will be a good way for them to apply themselves?

  6. These sticks are great for covering the nose, lips, ears and the cheek area below the eyes as an extra measure of protection. No-Ad makes great products and are rated very high by Consumer Reports.

  7. We buy this but only for the kids faces. It is easier to apply and doesn't get in their eyes. I would never think of trying to cover their whole body witht his. I thought it was made just fro the face.

  9. I also want to get this for their faces... seems like my toddler wiggles too much and keeping lotion out of her eyes, etc. is always challenging.

  10. I really love No-Ad products; the price is great and so are the products. I'm glad the baby one works too! And don't worry, you'll feel a lot better in the second trimester, then TIRED in the third -- so rest all you can, because as you know, you won't get much sleep with a new baby! Congrats!
