Bose Sound Dock
I looked long and hard for a sound dock for my iPod. There are a variety of models availiable in various price ranges. I was very tempted to go with a fairly cheap model, but I always compared it to the Bose system.
Historically, I have a not been a big Bose fan. I felt that you mainly paid for the small size of their speakers. I think that they got this particular product right though. It is very simple and even portable. You simply dock your iPod on the unit and turn it on and you are set to go. No complicated controls and very easy to operate.
I got the black model and have not used it as a portable unit. The biggests elling point for me was the sound quality (deep bass and crisp highs) and the portability. After having the product for a couple of months, I am very happy I opted to spend the extra money and get the best unit I have heard.
