cloverfield
the previews don't tell you anything and leave you wondering what it's about. i kind of wish that nobody spoiled what kind of movie it was for me, so i'll keep this spoiler free.
to be honest, i went to see this movie expecting it to be horrisble, and something me and my friends could make jokes about the next day. a little after the action started kicking in though, the movie seemed pretty good. and for most of it, it stayed that way. they leave a few things unexplained, but it seems like they did it intentionally. maybe hinting at a prequel? it was a pretty good movie. if i could just pick one thing to nitpick on, it might be the acting. was good for most of the movie, but there were just a couple of scenes that seemed more movie cliche than this blair-witch style movie should be.
