Bouncy, bouncy, fun, fun, fun

Share and Enjoy:

We purchased this trampoline 2 years ago this month for my then 12 year old daughters birthday. A trampoline was something she always wanted but we never had a flat area in the yard to put one until we moved to the house we are in now.  After looking around we chose the Bounce pro because we liked the size, the price and the fact that it came with the net and the pads included all in one package.

It was actually easier to put together than we thought it would be but you still should allow yourself serval hours to do it all. The hardest part is attatching the last few springs when you are stretching the part you jump on. It took a bit of mustle power to pull and lock in the last few. The kit comes with a special hook like tool that helps you to pull and lock the springs in place and makes it much easier and safer than using your hands. Be careful though we had a few that got away and shot across the yard at a high rate of speed.

The downside to this set has been the mats and the net. They are there for safety but have not held up well over use and weather. After about 6 months the net began to sag and the straps that held it to the frame began to tear. We have replaced them several times already. Then there is the mat that goes around the ouside of the trampoline and protects the users from the springs. This also began to fail about the 6 month mark especially around the entrance area. It gets dried out from the elements and begins to crack and tear and can cause injury. We turn it when it begins to show wear and now it needs to be totally replaced. The last part showing wear are the blue foam bumpers that go over the side and top poles. These have lastest the longest of all the pads but now at the 2 year mark they are also starting to fall apart.

All in all, my children have really enjoyed using this trampoline and it was a good investment. I do have to check and see if replacement pads are available though because they really need to be replaced not only for looks but also for safety.

I've posted some new pictures to my review to show the damage that I explained in the review. Now that it is nice outside and the kids are ready to play on it again, we are going to look into solutions on how to repair it. I will post any new information I find out.

  2. The pads are important, so it's not good that they wear out so fast. Thanks for the warning.

  7. The net sounds like a good idea but at the same time seems like its very hindering. Good review
