Vtech 5.8 Cordless Phone w/Answeing Machine
This is the second set of cordless phones I've purchased in the last 3 months. When I bought the first set I was looking for something that had individual ringtones that could be assigned to each caller. But now I don't care about the ringtones... I need a "message notifier"!!
I REALLY need some kind of "beep" warning to tell me I have messages on my answering machine. There have been too many times I never noticed the silent, blinking, number, telling me I had messages waiting! I needed a sound to tell me I have messages!!
So I decided on this Vtech model, which is pretty basic. It still doesn't have the ringtone option I wanted in the past, although you can change the ring sound. Not anything fancy and musical, but that's fine. It does however, make a beeping noise for those messages!! Otherwise this phone isn't filled with frills. It comes with three handsets that have their own chargers, and only use one phone jack. Most features on this phone are standard on most any cordless phone. It's not spectacular, but it has what I need, and it's easy to set up. ...And it has that "beep"!!
