Two For The Price Of One!
The time finally came that we just had to break down and buy a new cordless phone. Our old one was on its death bed and couldn't last any longer. Off we went in search of a phone that would have all the features we needed when we stumbled across a model on clearance at Walmart. So, we decide to take the chance with it since it had two handsets and loads of extra features with it. This Uniden phone is a 5.8 ghz digital with the option to be able to expand the system to up to 10 different handsets. Great for a small business! Digital answering machine is included with speakerphone and DirectLink technology which allows them to be used like 2-way radios. It also gives the intercom option or the ability to transfer calls between headsets without interuption. How great is that!
Let me tell you too, these things can take a beating. I can't count the times I have dropped them while trying to do to many things at once and after all that there isn't even a scratch.
The range isn't as good as hoped but it serves it purpose as long as you don't want to use it while walking outside to a pretty good distance from the base. I can make it down to my mailbox without losing signal so the range is fine for me.
All in all, this is a great cordless phone set to purchase if your looking for one that has lots of extras and will last for a while.

I am loving the two way radio feature too! These phones seem like they're pretty durable since you have dropped them a few times & there are still no scratches!
Our phone is currently on it's death bed too so I may be going to Walmart to check this one out.
We have this same phone at our house and I absolutely LOVE it! You truely get what you pay for with this phone. Uniden is a great product!
I LOVE my Unidens! Mine are going on 3 years old and still perform flawlessly. The two way radio is wonderful when one is working outside on the property and one is inside the home. These are simply the best there is.
We could really use a new cordless phone! I love the features the one you described has, the intercom is a great idea. I will have to check this model out.
