Gerber Vitamin drops

Share and Enjoy:

Although my daughter is 4 years old, she has special needs and will not take a traditional child's vitamins.  Because of this issue, we decided that liquid infant vitamin drops would be the best option for her.

Every morning after she is done her breakfast, we give her two dropperfuls of the multivitamin. You would normally only give an infant one dropperful, but she is older and bigger, so she needs two.

My daughter likes the tart fruit flavor of this vitamin and it is very easy to swallow.  This liquid vitamin supplement provides nine essential vitamins to help a baby or child grow and be healthy.

One downfall of this vitamin is that it does stain clothing so I always have a towel handy! Also, you do not really get a lot of this vitamin for your money.  Another downfall is that it does not contain iron so I do have to make sure my daughter is getting plenty of iron-rich foods.

I would highly recommend this vitamin supplement for anyone wanting to supplement their baby or child's diet.

  3. Wow I did not even know this product existed. I know a lot of children that just won't take pills and this would be ideal for them. thanks for the warning on the staining though.

  4. The dropper is a good idea for kids who have trouble taking a normal vitamin. Thanks for the info.

  8. Glad it tastes good. When my son was an infant, I decided he needed to take vitamins d/t his repeated ear infections. The liquid vitamin I bought was nasty and I ended up throwing it away :0)

  9. We gave these to my son when he was little. I can't tell you how many onesies we stained with it.

  10. I remember the liquid vitamins for babies when mine was younger smelled horrible! I am glad they have improved the taste and smell now.
