Credit woes...

Share and Enjoy:
I have recently been trying to build my credit up so that I can purchase a house. I have been without credit cards for about 6 years after I got myself into debt. I had since paid everything off and was a little apprehensive in getting another credit card. I decided that Capital One was my best option. They gave me the best interest rate with my previous credit history. What I do, I purchase something and then pay it off directly. With Christmas I went a little higher and I am still paying it off, but with a low interest rate. Also, if you continue to pay on time they give you automatic credit line increases, and if you are unable to pay it off in full the minimum due is always $15.00. I think that's it's the best for a college student or for someone that is trying to rebuild their credit score. I can only go up from here!

  3. I also have Capital One card. They kept increasing my credit limit so it is now quite high. I don't use it much because of high interest charges.

  5. Oh the dreaded credit card debt! Seems we start out with good intentions and then get over our heads! I think Capital One is a good card to begin to make that upward climb to good credit. Good luck !

  8. Thanks for the info, I am in the same boat. Divorce put in a little bit of debt. Have everything paid off and just want one credit card. I get offers from them all the time but wasn't sure how good they were. Thanks for all the great info.

  9. Capital One can be a great credit card to rebuild your credit rating up. We are in the process of doing that and we also have a Capital One credit card. Our limit has already been raised once too!
