12x12 paper keeper and scrapbook paper storage

Share and Enjoy:
I was looking for a file system that I could use to store, sort and protect my 12x12 scrapbook paper. I checked all the top stores and the one that I liked the most was the Memory Express 12x12 paper keeper that I found at Joann fabric and craft store.

The Memory Express paper keeper is an acid free, expandable organizer that has 15 tabbed compartments. It has a hard black outer case that is covered in a paper like material which is perfect surface for decorating with gel pens, rubber stamps, or even decoupage.

I liked them so much that I purchased 2 of them. One I use to store my card stock and printed paper and one I use to store stickers and embellishments. In the paper one, I have my paper divided by color for the card stock and occasion for the printed papers. I label each tab accordingly and file the papers in the pockets. I would guess that I have approximately 200 sheets of paper in there right now and there is still room to add more. The second one I use to store stickers and embellishments. I have all the stickers divided into like categories, such as Christmas or Halloween  and then I put all of them into a 12x12 sheet protector. I then take the sheet protectors and insert them into the labeled pockets of the paper keeper which makes it really easy to find stickers I need for what ever project that I am working on.

These files have proven to be valuable tools to me in keeping my supplies organized and free of damage. They have also saved me many hours of looking for things that were previously stacked together in drawers.

  2. These parer keepers really do sound as if they are worth the price dsnygrl. Nothing is more irritating than finding that your scrap papers have been damaged or stained. These would be great last minute gifts for someone who really is into scrapbooking or other paper type crafts.

  3. Hmm, I am trying to think of the name but I have something like this for my scrapbook paper. But the only difference is that it does inside of an organizer. It was really the best purchase I have made for my scrapbooking paper. I did as you said, organized it by theme/occasion. It made things so much easier! We really need a scrapbooking section on here because you have some great items to inform me about. lol.

  9. This sounds good. I might have to look for this. I do my books in 8.5 x 11 format, but have a lot of the 12 x 12 paper that doesn't fit in my other file.

  13. That is a really nice looking file! I just love that it has so many compartments, a handy handle and is acid free! And all for so little money! Where do I sign up for one?
