Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas

Share and Enjoy:

I was not thrilled with Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas.  It started with the rooms.  They are the smallest things I have ever seen.  I went with two other girls and we would have to call out when one of us was going to move about the cabin or someone would get hit.

The ports of call were very nice.  We went to Old Key WEst, Nassau, and Royal Caribbean's private island.  WE took some neat tours in each place.

The food on the ship was really good, but limited.  YOu could eat in the buffet or in the sit down dining room.  There was a Johnny Rocket's onboard but it was not included.  There was also a chocolate buffet one night but the line was so long that I never got in.

That's another thing, there are lines for everything!  LInes to get on, lines to eat, lines to get off.  I honestly felt like I was being herded like cattle.

Overall it was just a really bad experience and I will not be cruising on that ship again.

  2. I never personally been on a cruise myself, but I have heard that smaller cruise ships are a lot better then these bigger cruise ships for the reasons you mentioned. Sorry it was all that good of an experience. At least you had some fun at the ports.

  3. Thank you for the honest information on Royal Caribbean. I think most of the larger ships will have pretty small rooms unless you reserve a high category suite or something. I am sorry you did not particularly enjoy your experience.

  4. Great information on your experience. My hubby and I have never had the desire to go on a cruise because of some of the things you mentioned. We really don't care to be cooped up with tons of people everywhere you look.

  5. Sorry you did not enjoy the experience. I think I would have felt the same.

  6. My son and daughter just went on that cruise with their dad. My daughter said it was a disaster. They lost their luggage and never got it till the cruise ended. It was her first cruise and she said I am not impressed at all! Thanks.

  7. Hmmm sorry to hear you didn't have the greatest experience on Royal Caribbean. I have never been on a cruise before but it's one of the top things I want to do in the near future. I will remember not to pick this one. And your comment about having to call out when you were going to move in your room made me laugh. I can only imagine how crazy that was!

  8. Wow...small rooms....? Where did you keep your luggage? It must have been frustrating for sure. I don't think this ship will be on my list for trying. Thanks for the warning!

  9. That is too bad you had such a poor experience on the cruise. I have had pretty good luck with all the ships I have been on.

  10. If I ever go on a cruise it will have to be a smaller more intimate setting. I cannot imagine paying good money only to be treated like cattle. How relaxing could that possibly be?

  13. So sorry that the trip turned out bad. The lines would get on my nerves too. Although the chocolate buffet sounds nice lol. I have been wondering about ships like this. We looked into one for our honeymoon but never went. Thanks for the warning.

  14. How horrible that your cruise with the Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas turned out so bad. I will definitely have to keep this in mind as when I do get a chance to go I certainly do not want to feel stuck in a situation like this.

  16. I'm sorry that it was not as you expected...for vacation prices you'd like to at least be able to get a chocolate fix!

  17. I can understand how annoying the lines must have been.
