Digital Federal Credit Union
We have been fortunate enough to be members of this credit union for over 7 years now. We have never been disappointed. They are always friendly. They still have face to face service, unlike the new trend to put the tellers behind a video camera and make you talk to them over a phone. I do wish they had 24/7 customer service over the phone, but they are there for 12 hours a day so at least it isn't strict bankers hours. Even their branch locations have extended hours so they are more accommodating to the working individual.
Not only do you not have to pay ATM fees to them for using another bank's machine, but they will refund you any fees that you pay to that other bank or financial institution. If you happen to be in a town that does not have a branch location, then you can use a sister branch and conduct any transaction.
We have our auto loans through them because used car loans get the same rate as new car loans. These rates are consistently lower than other institutions. No more penalties for buying used!
They also have a great kids program for those young bankers. We have been very thankful for the opportunity to do our banking with this credit union.

i have never belonged to a credit union but our local consumer advisor always recommends them as being one of the best types of "bank" to use. I have heard wonderful things about how they are more willing to work with their members and get them into loans and other programs than a traditional bank. Thank you for the information you have shared.
I have never belonged to a credit union, but you have enumerated a lot of good reasons to look into them. And this one sounds like it has provided you with really great service.

Sounds like a good place to do business with. And how nice that they have face to face service. With a name like digital, I would think it would all be online type service.
