How many of us dread having to go out to warm up the car when there is a severe snowstorm or when it is just plain freezing outside? My daughter-in-law and son and my mother's cars all have automatic startup which has proved to be very useful. I wanted the ability to do the same thing so we had a system installed on our car and have been very pleased with it.

Thi system has a one thousand foot range, is diesel start compatible, and has auto/manual transmission capability. There is a run timer that is marked in 5/10/20 and 30 minute intervals and it has programmable cold start. You also receive two transmitters with the kit , one for hubby and one for me. Safety features include a six tone mini siren , keyless entry, and a dual shock sensor.

This unit gives you the best protection and provides the most convenience at an affordable price. It is built with the highest integrity and has not given us any problems thus far. It sure makes getting off to work on those cold, snowy mornings more bearable. I could not imagine being without it! I highly recommend it for everyone.

  1. A lot of people I know have these. I used to have one on another car, I miss it.

  2. I would love one of these! I think that this should be standard in all cars!!!! I also love the fact that this has a siren-what peace of mind for everybody but specifically for women who might have to be out late at night! I'm so glad you love your's!

  3. I love my car started and wouldn't own a car without one. I really like the sounds of this one, mine is ok it came with the car and I don't think those are always the best! Yours has way more range than mine does but all in all it gets the job done. Thanks

  4. This unit would have been so nice to own when I worked in surgery. There were many times that I had to walk out of the hospital to a cold car after doing a middle of the night surgery. I think the range of this system would have started my car from the door of the hospital.

  5. These are out of our budget now and maybe forever, but it's nice to know that they do what they are supposed to do, and provide security too!

  6. I would love to have one of these for those sub-zero winter mornings. I was always under the impression that these would only work with cars that had an automatic transmission. It was interesting to hear that they offer models for standard transmissions as well. Thanks for the information!

  8. Would love to have one of these. Doesn't get cold often where I live, but the days that it does, this would be so nice!

  9. This would be great to have. This winter was rough. With a new baby it is always a good idea to warm up the car but no one ever volunteered to do it lol. This sounds like a great system and the extra security it provides is a great bonus!

  11. This would be perfect for cold New England mornings! I didn't even realize that there WAS a keyless entry retrofit available for cars. Did your price include installation?

  15. I like that it's both an alarm and a car starter, that must really be handy in the middle of winter!

  16. Great information here. Make sure to look at your States laws, because leaving a vehicle running without an occupant can get you a ticket. My mom does this and so far it has been no problem. A car needs a good security system if you do do this. This one sounds like it would disable any threat of theft. =)
