Slimeline Handset Phone

Share and Enjoy:

I have always used cordless phones. I even swore off hand held phones. When my husband and I moved to our apartment last July we went and bought 2 new cordless phones that turned out to be a bad experience. We thought that it was because we were in the apartment so when we finally moved to our new house in Febuary, we plugged in the cordless phone and received the same results of static and bad reception.

My husband and I decided to go to Walmart and look at phones. We went through each corded phone choice  and spent almost an hour trying to pick one out. The ranges of phones were from $5.00-$149.99.

We finally decided on the GE Slimline Corded phone. For being and inexpensive phone that cost under $10, this is the coolest one that I have seen. Unlike the cordless phones we were using, there is no static and I can hear my callers clearly.

The phone also has some really cool features such as call waiting, caller ID, new call indicator, volume control of the ring, memory button, number store button, redial button, and a flash button. The phone is black and silver with the caller ID screen on top of the receiver. YOu will find the volume control for the ringer on the side of the phone for easy access.

If your in the market for a new phone. I reccommend that you get this phone because you wont spend a lot of money on a phone but you will get a good, reliable, and the best of all, cheap phone to use.

  1. For $8.62, it sounds like you found a baragin. If I am in the market for a new phone, I will consider this one.

  2. What a bargain. This sounds like a great phone especially for the price. I really am disliking my cordless phone. I hadn't really given thought to going back to a corded phone, but it might be a good idea.

  3. Not a bad price! I think this is true of all those cordless phones...static and noise issues. I have one corded phone in my home and my business along with the cordless ones. I think the corded performs so much better!

  4. Sure can't beat the price. If you can find something that cheap which works so good it is certainly worth it. Thanks for sharing this information.
