The PalmOne Universal IR Keyboard for Palm PDA's is a great addition to to any home office. This laptop sized keyboard is not only economical, priced under $50.00, but useful as well. The keyboard allows Plam users to type freely into the Memopad or Notepad function on the Palm. Any notation software is fully compatible with the PalmOne Universal IR Keyboard.
The packaged product for the PalmOne Universal IR Keyboard comes with all the necessary software needed to integrate the keyboard function with your Palm applications. The Hotsync function downloads the software to your Palm and you will be up and typing in no more than 30 seconds. (I did have a bit of trouble convincing the software CD to download to my PDA due to the fact that the software did not recognize the Palm Desktop application and required I download that application first. This was rectified by simply choosing to add the PRC file to my HotSync manager by hand).
The PalmOne Universal IR Keyboard is a great buy and worth every penny.

I like the price ...only $50 for such a useful gadget!!
We have a different brand, but these external keyboards are very nice if you plan to use your PDA for a lot of note-taking.
This sounds like such a useful device if you are using your Palm for writing a lot! So much easier than trying to type directly on the Palm. Thanks for sharing!
Sonds like nice device. I have 2 different palms and forget I have them.
