Vases For the Floor
Let me first say that I got this vase for my wedding, and no I did not register for it. When I opened the box and saw a giant black sculptural vase I had absolutely no idea what the heck I was going to do with it. It's a big black giant vase that specifically states that it is for decorative use only and is not watertight.
So I now own this big black vase that can't even hold flowers. My husband and I lugged it around from home to home until it finally found it's place, in the guest bathroom. It actually looked rather stunning and modern in the corner of our remodeled restroom. I put three large artificial Calla Lillie's in it and some greens and am now rather attached to the once not so welcome eyesore.
The vase is very sturdy. It is handcrafted out of Terra cotta based on a design by Yuri Zatarain. It has a felt bottom as to not scratch the surface it is resting on. I have a dog, two cats, and a toddler and as active as they are they have never knocked this down.
I don't know if I would actually buy this vase, but it is a solid product that is happily living its life out the far, seldom seen, corners of our house.

I bet this is stunning! The black color and the lilies together ...what a classy statement! I would love to see a picture of it. Funny how you dragged it around until you found a perfect place for it .

Crate and Barrel always has great vases. I have several that I was given during my teaching years and have really enjoyed having them.

That is pretty expensive. I'm not sure if I would ever buy one but I love gifts lol. I'm glad you could find some place to put it. I have a lot of gifts still in storage lol
Some of the best items I have started out as ones I had no idea what to do with when I first got them. One day you home and decor might change and you will find the perfect spot for the vase.
