Sleeping on Northern Nights

Share and Enjoy:

I try not to be a QVC addict, but when I realized how awful all my old sheets were getting, I took my sister's advice and watched an hour of Northern Nights bed linens and comforters.  It is obvious that they are high quality products; the people calling in with testimonials all had multiple sets and were buying more.  I decided to get the "Hot Pick" which was only $39.99 for a queen-size set with a thread count of 350, with fitted bottom sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases.  I got it in purple, one of my favorite colors.

The set arrived quickly, and looked really good in the package.  It has a woven in pattern that looks kind of like a checkerboard; it's not very clear on the photo, sorry.  I always wash new sheets or clothes before I use them, so threw these in the washer  and then the drier.  They came out looking just as good as they had when they went in.  I only have two minor problems with them; first, you have to take them right out of the dryer and put them on the bed, otherwise they look like they need to be ironed  (I don't bother; I'm the only one that's going to see them anyway!); and second, I have four pillows on  my bed and it's hard to find sets of two pillowcases that match. I've solved the second one by putting my second set of pillows in shams that match my bedspread.

I thought these sheets were a great value; I've seen one flat sheet with a 300TC costing that much. I like them so much that I've gotten four other sets! This is undoubtedly more than one single person needs, but it does mean I don't have to wash sheets every week...  I've also given them as gifts to both my sisters, and they were delighted with them. (I'm not sure how pleased I'd be with a set of sheets for Christmas, but then I do already have 5 good sets, and only one bed in my house!)

If you haven't tried them, take a look at them on QVC.com; you can often find a set that is on clearance sale.  They are more than worth the price. I'm fairly sure that once you try them, you won't want to sleep on anything else.

  1. Laurel, that is an excellent price for queen 300tc sheets. I'm like you, if I find sheeting at good prices and they fit well, I try and buy multiple sets. I'll watch QVC and give these a look.
