SurgeMaster Saves the Day!

Share and Enjoy:

If you own any electronics at all.. then you know how important it is to keep them safe from electrical brown outs or other malfunctions! This handy Surge protector did just that! We had a brown out that fried almost all of best friends electronics.. including her PC. We live just around the corner and had no issues since we were protected by our Belkin SurgeMaster. It not only saved our PC but because we had our phone lines plugged into it as well.. saved our Modem and networking cards! In all it cost my friend over $2300 to replace the damaged equipment she lost! Ours was protected by a $24.00 investment! How can you chance something like this happening for such a low cost? I know I can't!

It has six outlets as well as phone inlet and outlet which makes it convenient to plug multiple pieces of equipment into the one device! So it doubles as extra outlets! There is also two indicator lights (One for "Grounded" and the other for "Protected" to help ease your mind that everything you have plugged in is being protected properly.

A must have for anyone with electronics in there home!

  1. I own a couple of surge protectors as well and they are great to have for those just-in-case times.

  2. Yeah, we had to learn the hard way (thankfully not $2300 worth!) that we needed a better surge protector. For sure, get one with the phone jacks... we fried all our modems.

  4. I have these and nothing electrical is pugged in unless it is plugged into these. It is always good to be safe. Thanks for sharing the information.

  5. You make a very good case for having a surge protector! We do not have one with phone jacks, so perhaps it is time for us to look for an upgrade... Actually... I bet that is what killed our Lynksys! It died while we were on vacation and we couldn't figure out how or why because everything else looked fine. hmmm...

  6. After my modem getting blown up several times by lightening you would think I would invest in something like this. Thank you.

  9. I have a nice surge protector. Watch out for the phone man, if you are on dial up. When they test a line, they have a way with going over these protectors to enter the rear of your comp. Usually when they AMP a BOX!

    1. Glad we are now on DSL.. I'm sure they won't pay for the damage they cause either.. or at least they won't admit their fault! Thanks for the heads up!

  10. Those Green boxes , and the larger boxes are where the phone crews usually work. Never will they warn us, and every time they blow fuses. I think your product might be of use, if my newest fails.

  12. We did experience the reason a surge protector is needed many years ago, and had to start over with our computer. Learned our lesson! This one looks great.
