War of Conquest

Share and Enjoy:

I am often talked into checking out games on the net. A friend of mine mentioned this one some time ago. It is my favorite strategy game of them all.

War of Conquest was created in 2003 by Iron Zog and is the only strategy game online that pays you to play (that I know of). You get paid in credits when you take control of and protect what are known as orbs.

This is a click by square game and I am pretty new, so let me tell you what I know. It is a game much like Civilization. With a touch of ‘Dungeon and Dragons' and a dash of ‘Diablo', this war game is pretty unique. As you do battle, you collect points and advance levels in your kingdom. I am currently at level 21 with a sustainable land area of 925 squares. This land area is important to keeping your Agriculture points up and for maintaining a healthy army. Keeping those points up makes your army stronger. I personally am after the knowledge of Agriculture. I seem to be surviving.

There are wells, mines, and resources to gather and at each level. You can spend the credits you start with (250) to fortify your area, or to purchase mercenaries, weapons, etc. I am currently surrounding a player that has an orb.

The game is slightly complicated, but well rewarding in the strategy realm involved. I spend around an hour a day there. I can imagine a place in my mind that is out of this world. I dream a lot.

I found this awesome game at http://www.warofconquest.com/. It is a 50.18 MB load on your computer and is fairly quick at loading onto your hard drive. It is free to play and you have a great prospect of making money as a player that is an orb guardian. This is intense.

When you purchase your first 100 credits for $1, you get 250 free credits on top of that. This is all beside your first initial free 250 credits you get when you sign up. I play as ‘Webscastle' and I am a water baron. I love to steal those wells. I perfect in agriculture and warfare.

The only negative to this game is that it often is down for an hour or so. I still get lots of time here and would recommend it to all of you war buffs. I give it 9 0ut of 10 stars!

  2. I'm not into games really, but I know this one is pretty popular. Great job describing it, I never really knew what it was about.
