Sweep, no I 'd rather vacuum....
I just got laminate flooring recently and quickly decided that sweeping every other day will not be an option. I should tell you that I live in Florida which means there is sand everywhere! Better yet I have two dogs that like to track it in. I thought that I wouldn't mind sweeping because I was so sick vacuuming my carpet. I got sick of that real quick.
I decided to check ou my options and went to Walmart. I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for, but I knew I wanted something other than my broom. This little guy was perfect for what I needed. It's basically a lightweight vacuum cleaner that is great on hardwood floors, tile or laminate flooring. This was exactly what I needed.
It probably weighs about 5 or 6 pounds and it's easy to store away. It has an easy to remove shell to dump the garbage out. This is not for heavy soil, just perfect for sand and dirt. If I suck up to uch dog hair it gets a little clogged. All-in-all this perfectly suits my needs. I am sure they are way cheaper now from when I bought mine. Check them out!

This sounds like a life saver for your laminate floors! I bet it works great in the bathrooms too!! I live in an apartment so I'm stuck with my carpet but as soon as I get a house of own I want to get laminite or wood floors. I'll keep this little vacuum in mind. And I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to sweep either!
I think having one in my kitchen would be nice, I hate sweeping!
