Introduction:

N82 can be called N95 in candybar form. It is the firstnokia phone with xenon flash.

Design, appearance

When I saw first pics of N82 , Ithought that will be another boring nokia phone. But now I'm holding it in my hand and I can tell I like it. Yeah,design is minimalistic, but at the same time interesting and modern. Plastic is high quality (much better than N95), there are no strange sounds when pushed harder. 8.5/10

Keypad

There appeared many discussions about N82 keypad. It somewhat resembles N91 keypad. And very few people liked N91 keypad. Well, you have to work with phone few days 'till you get used to. But then you will see, that keypad is not that bad. Space between buttons is big,so all in all it's not a big deal to work with such a type of keypad layout. By the way, "pencil" button is canceled in this model, so "pencil's" functions can be done by button "#" which is not convenient. Multimedia button is not in very good place too, I found myself pushing it accidentally. 6/10

Display

16million colors (truecolor display), QVGA 240x320 resolution, 2,4". Well ,compared to N95, N82 display is a bit smaller, but when compared to N95 8GB differece is big. Moreover, display is not so bright, but on the other hand The brighter is display, the shorter battery lifetime is. 7/10

Camera.

Same lens as N95 + Xenon flash and AF assist beam which helps focusing in the dark. Camera's interface is same as N95 (you can read it in my N95 review) . Picture quality is the same . Just night shots are better because of Xenon flash. By the way,flash is weaker than in SonyEricsson K800i. 7/10

Video.

It is the same as I described in my review of N95.

MP3 player. It is the same story like I described N95, but Loudspeakers are diferent. They are on the right side (two of them). N95 creates more volume. On the top of N82 you find 3.5mm audio jack. 6/10

Call quality.

Very good,but compared to N95 it is a bit weaker.Still excellent 9.5/10

Battery.

It lasts about two days when played lot of games,used camera,mp3,video player. Normaly it lasts about 4 days. 8.5/10

Other information.

N82 has 128mb of RAM (N95 holds just 64mb of RAM), so that means that N82 works much faster than N95.

-Rotate me function is already installed in N82.

-GPS module is on the top, so it means better connection.

-IRDA is abscent.

Conclusion.

Highly recommended phone for those who prefer candybar instead of slider. I stay on N95 though.
