I bought the new Gmc Canyon in August 2007. It has a high performance level. It's a smaller size truck so it does really well handing curves. It appearance and style is really good. It is a smaller size truck and has a really clean look. It can hold up to about 5 people. It gets about 25 miles to the gallon on the highway and about 21 in town, which is really good compared to most trucks. It is a 5 cylinder. So it is way smaller than a V6 or V8 but it's got the performance of a V6. It comes with a 3 month subscription to XM radio and you can continue it if you want.
Overall I think this is a really good vehicle for a small family. It has safety locks on the back doors so children can't open them and you can even lock the windows if you want to. It is a nice size truck and doesn't cost as much as the bigger ones do.

Sounds like a great truck for my dad. He puts a lot of wear on tear on a truck, but does not need anything really big for just riding around his farm( he does no work on it, just likes to ride around). With 5 people, he could easily ride dogs and grandchildren all at one time. For some reason, the grandchildren's parents don't want them riding in the bed of the truck. Never hurt me or my brother, but I guess times change , don't they? Good price for a nice sounding truck.
For a truck, you're getting some really good gas mileage!! These are nice trucks!
I haven't heard of this model. Sounds like a really practical size. I'll keep my eyes open for it!
I have never even heard of the Canyon before. It sounds great, I'll look out for it in the Canadian market.
Thanks for the info on this, I didn't know that much about the canyon. I like the price though
For a smaller truck which can carry up to 5 people and get 21-25 mpg, it is a great buy! Add to that the GM quality and this one is a winner in my book.
