My husband & I already had a 12 cup coffee pot from Gevalia but no longer had our membership with them, so a few weeks ago, when they sent us a card saying that if we renewed our membership, they'd send us a free Coffee for Two coffee pot, my husband jumped at the chance. He drinks coffee everyday & thought this would be a better option since it's just him that drinks it.
The coffee pot to me felt very lightweight & not the greatest quality, but it wasn't bad. Setup was extremely easy and the directions were easy to follow. The coffee pot brews directly into one or two 14 oz stainless steel insulated mugs. Because there are two chambers, you can brew 2 different kinds of coffee or even coffee & tea. It also has an auto shutoff after brewing is complete and a switch on top of the machine to select either one cup or two.
It's neat being able to make however much you want or make 2 different kinds of coffee if you choose, but some of the things I don't like is that you have to have both cups in the machine even if you are making only 1 cup. This means that if one cup is dirty, you have to wash it first or just stick it in there as a placeholder. Also, this pot has no timer on it so you can't set your coffee to be ready for you when you wake up.
It was a pretty good deal all-in-all. I bought 4 different Gevalia coffees & got the pot free & I am free to cancel my membership at any time.

Sounds like a decent pot. Just an idea, but if you're ever in the market for a coffee feature that has this feature, I'd recommend the Hamilton Beach Stay Or Go. It can make a 8-cup pot of coffee or make 1 or 2 cups in mugs like this one, plus you can set it up to do just the one cup if you want =) And you can set it on a timer too!
Cool, thanks...wish I'd known about that coffee pot before I bought this one. We miss having a timer.
