LIGHTHOUSE - PROTECTION FOR MY HOME

When I bought my house I knew one of the first things I needed to get was insurance. I hate insurance, I hate dealing with it and paying for it, but I also know that it is one of those unfortunate necessities we must have in life. So off I went searching the internet and getting quotes.

I had just about settled on one (can't remember which one) when a friend told me to call Lighthouse Insurance Group. I thought why not give it a try. All the quotes I had gotten were pretty much in the same ball park and it was going to cost me about $50.00 a month. I called Lighthouse and talked to a rep there and gave them all my information. She came back the very same day with a quote of $31.00 a month. I was pretty sure they had made a mistake and went over all the limits and deducibles again. Nope, they got it right. I even had replacement cost on my home if it was totally destroyed! OK I said sign me up..

Of course we all know the saying this has to be too good to be true...well it was true here. The only way I could get this rate is if I had my car insurance through them too. Oh oh..I knew there had to be a catch. At that time I was with Unitren and loved it. Every 6 months I would check different companies and no one could come close. I explained that to them and she said give us a try...

I did and boy and I glad I did, they came in about $10 cheaper per month on my car insurance too! This is an excellant company to work with and I wish I could tell you about their claim service but I can happily report I haven't had to use it! i can tell you though if you read my review on my Equity Loan and the flood coverage, it was Lighthouse that helped me straighten Fifth Third out.

As much as I hate dealing with insurance this company has made it as pain free as it can be.! I think I will be with them for a long time. Oh yeah one other thing, every 6 months when my policy renews..I get a letter saying it is going down because I haven't had any claims..granted it has only been about $3.00 but it sure beats it going up!
