Children's goggles

I picked these goggles up at Walmart because they were cheap and I had been looking for some that would fit my son.  I admit I did not want the goggles for swimming, but for applying sunscreen to his face.  My husband suggested that we get some so that we could easily put the sunscreen on without getting any his eyes.  These were great for that purpose.  Once I adjusted them to the right size they fit against his eyes I am able to apply sunscreen without worrying about his eyes.

I don't think these goggles will be so great for swimming.  The lense part is made of tinted plastic with a small layer of rubber around the edges.  The edges of the lenses still feel pretty hard and I think they would get really uncomfortable  when wearing them for longer than a few minutes.  The strap is made out of rubber, too (think rubber band) and it was very hard to adjust.  I was able to do it, but it took awhile to get it right. The nose bridge is also adjustable and this is much easier to do.

So if you are looking for goggles to help you apply sunscreen or for an occasional swim these are fine, but you want some for the more serious swimmer, you should probably look elsewhere.
