Venturer Book Shelf Stereo
Share and Enjoy:
I don't know what it is with teenagers but it seems they can function without music. I purchased this Venturer book shelf stereo for my teenager for Christmas because I just knew that she would get my money's worth out of it. This stereo has almost went into the dumpster a few times as It is load and my daughter just doesn't seem to understand the words TURN IT DOWN! So as you can see the speakers are nice and load and very clear. This Venturer is a 5 cd changer. The one down fall that I was nicely told was that a front loader isn't what she wanted. That she's afraid that if it is open and if one of her siblings are in her room that they might accidentally hit the loading drawer and that would be it. She does however like the look and that it came with a remote. Which is perfect for most teens as most of them are lazy. At least mine is. (haha). This stereo also has an adjustable bass and tremble amongst other little sound gadgets. One thing I hate about this stereo is that sometimes I swear it turns it self on. Or my teenager is playing tricks.

She even loves it because it plays Mp3's. (Burnt Cd's)

Great looking product. I love the remote! I'm not sure why kids love to have the stereo up so loud but they do! I bet your teenager uses the remote to play tricks on you!
If it's any consolation, my teen also does not understand the workds turn it down mean! She actually blew the speakers out of the nice Aiwa stereo I had purchased her, so I might just have to take a look at this nice little system, she has a birthday coming up!!
As a mother of two teenagers, now grown, I can say with all certainty that no teenager understands the words, "turn it down." This system does look like a nice one though. Thanks you for sharing the information and your experience.
I pray that this isn't possessed & playing tricks on you-you know how teenagers like to play games with their parents! I bet your daughter is enjoying this though!
Sounds like a great stereo system. I don't know any teenager that understands "turn it down".
Nice home audio there, all teenagers love loud music, that is the universal truth...lol....thanks for sharing
Looks like a good stereo for a reasonable price, odd that it seems to turn itself on at times.
Nice looking shelf stereo and great price.
Great looking little stereo. I'm a long way from being a teenager, but I can't function without my music either! LOL! My TV turns itself on and off, not my stereo; I blame it on the resident ghost, who also turns lights off and on. Annoying but not very scary.
