Let me start by saying that when I first bought this bra I LOVED it. It made my post baby size 38DD chest look perky again. I loved the color and I loved the fact that it came in my size.
I wore this bra on a regular basis and found it was very comfortable, that was up until last week. I had only owned it for about six months when the hook the strap attaches to did not just come apart it basically disintegrated out of the body of the bra. I was not even able to sew it back on. I practice ally cried.
I looked at the material of the bra and I found that the hook looked like it was never properly attached to the rest of the bra. It makes me wonder if I got a factory second without knowing it.
I think a bra, especially one made by a well known company like Victoria's Secret should last more then six months. I would warn anyone to think twice before buying this bra.

Its so hard to find a good bra for us bigger cheasted gals, I am sorry this happened. You dont really expect it from VS though. :(
thanks for the heads-up. I love pretty bras, but am also kinda top heavy. I would have expected better from VS, good to know not to invest in this.
I love this bra! I think you may have gotten a defective one. I have a few different colors of the same style and haven't had any problems. Although I'm not nearly as blessed as you :) I wonder what they would do if you contacted them? For $48 bucks its worth a shot.
$48 bucks for six months of post-partum perky? Hmm... that actually doesn't sound like a bad deal. ;) Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts on this bra!
I'd try to contact them too... it's worth a shot! I have some VS bras that I love too but not this one (yet).
I'd contact customer service, that just doens't sound right to only last 6 months. Glad it worked up until it broke though!
Awe, I'm so sorry your comfy bra didn't hold up. As much as Victoria Secrets costs, you'd think the durability would have been better.
I used to by new bras at VS about every six months. I was wearing the 38DD as well, and the bras were awesome when they were new. But after a few months (even with hand washing) they'd stretch out and the support would be gone. Most of my bras have popped elastic that is hanging out of the seams in the back. I got a professional bra fitting and suffice it to say I can't wear the "smaller" sizes they carry in Victoria's Secret. I don't know if my problems were because I was wearing a bra that was too small, but for the prices I was paying I expected better quality as well.
6 months for a bra that costs $45? That's not right. Do they guarantee their products? I would be calling the company to complain. You deserve to have your money's worth. Sorry that happened to you.
I think for the price they should definitely last longer than 6 months.
I have never bought any of their underwear items but I can't believe it broke that fast. I would contact them about it. That is NOT a cheap price for a bra and it should definitely be lasting longer than 6 months for that. Wow. Thanks for the warning.
For that price and the brand you would think you would have gotten more then just 6 months from it, thanks for sharing.
'Lol! No Web, most women do not have the fortune of being..um..blessed like us. It's hard to find a good bra during and right after pregnancy, I'm so sorry that yours broke!
That is so surprising about a Victoria's Secret bra falling apart-I hope you were able to find another one!
Thanks for the heads up!! I hate it when that happens! I wear a DD as well and once I had my bra break apart while I was out in public...UGH!
I've owned quite a few VS bra's and a couple of mine fell apart too.
For an expensive bra, that truly is unacceptable. Thanks for sharing!
I have to agree, I shop for my wife at VS....I can't believe the quality of this product wasn't so good. For the price you would expect to get some more time out of it.
I have to say my DD chest can't do VS, I wish I could.
Well, I certainly don't have the double D asset, but I DO know that VS bras never fit me very well. I never had the problem of them falling apart though.
That just shouldn't happen. ESPECIALLY with their prices! Take it back and demand they replace it!
I hope you returned this bra to Victoria Secret and if you did, I'd love to hear how it went.
$48 should buy more than six months use, good bra or not!
For the cost thier bras should be more durable
